Celebrating Diversity with Fundación Prodis

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Fundación Prodis to Mercado de San Miguel.

During the visit, we shared the essence of our market, guiding them through each stall and discovering together the stories, details, and unique features that make this space so special. It was a truly enriching experience.

To bring the visit to a close, we enjoyed a full breakfast prepared by @madreamiga. Together, we joined this meaningful initiative. On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated on March 21st, Madreamiga, in collaboration with Fundación Prodis, created special Oreo cookies under the slogan #fueramoldes — a message that celebrates diversity and encourages breaking stereotypes.

All proceeds from these cookies will be fully allocated to employment inclusion projects for people with intellectual disabilities.

At Mercado de San Miguel, we are committed to continuing to support initiatives like this.
