TATUN the new mecca of bluefin tuna from Almadraba in Madrid, will celebrate its inauguration on May 25 with the first snoring in the history of the San Miguel Market.

The gastronomic creations of TATUN will feature “the chef of the bread” Dani Ramos of La Cremita de Chiclana and ALMADRABA of PETACA CHICO,  the fishing company reference for more than 30 years in the world of wild bluefin tuna.

San Miguel Market, icon of gastronomy and tourism, will celebrate on Wednesday 25th of May the first snoring in its history, thanks to TATUN the new gastronomic corner dedicated to the wild bluefin tuna of Almadraba. With the collaboration of the pastry chef of Chiclana de la Frontera Dani Ramos, famous for his custom breads for haute cuisine and Petaca Chico, Conil´s company that is a worldwide reference in products of Almadraba, TATUN is postulated as the new wild tuna mecca of the capital, in a location as emblematic as the San Miguel Market.

What awaits us at TATUN?

With a staging that evokes the coast of Cadiz and the art of the trap, fishing technique dating back to the time of the Phoenicians, TATUN will be a boutique totally dedicated to the world of wild tuna of Almadraba where, in addition to being able to taste a varied selection of delicacies and gastronomic creations inspired by the versatility of bluefin tuna, where Jamón del Mar stands out, it will also be possible to purchase premium preserves from the coast of Cadiz, like tuna loin in lard and mojama pate.

A wave of the sea on the palate Thanks to the synergies between a renowned fishing company, chef José Manuel Vela Rodríguez and pastry chef Dani Ramos, the TATUN menu will provide a gastronomic experience full of succulent surprises, where the excellence of the raw material becomes haute cuisine thanks to dishes such as El Taco tuna vitellato, the Mini brioche turmeric with tarantelo cucumber, the Tiradito tuna San Lucar or the brioche bread in squid ink with creamy cheese payoyo and tuna tartar, gourmet creations that enter through the eyes and seduce by their taste.
