Temporary Closure for Heritage Conservation Work

Starting January 7, the Mercado de San Miguel will be temporarily closed in order to carry out improvement works and the conservation of our historic heritage.

The Mercado de San Miguel is a gastronomic space, a unique structure in Madrid, and a place that forms part of the city’s collective memory. That’s why we are taking a pause — to care for the heritage that brings us together and to protect its legacy, ensuring it can continue to be enjoyed by future generations.

Our goal is to ensure that the Market remains a lively and vibrant meeting point, true to its identity and its history.
We will be opening our doors again very soon and will continue building new stories together. We’ll be back with more enthusiasm than ever.
